With 7.2 channel surround sound in HD and 4K Ultra High definition upscaling, watching a film becomes an unforgettable experience. 8 HDMI inputs, of which one MHL compatible, let you connect a multitude of devices. For playback in other rooms the VSX-1123-K offers HDZone, a Zone 2 HDMI out for routing either the same signal as the main zone or a separate source to a second zone via HDMI.

Aside from a digital connection with your iPod, iPhone or iPad, you get easy-to-operate worldwide internet radio (vTuner) and network streaming via DLNA or Apple AirPlay when you connect via LAN (optional adapter for wireless LAN available). Enjoy high-resolution music file playback such as WAV, FLAC, AIFF and Apple Lossless via LAN or USB. WAV, FLAC, AIFF and DSD (USB only) in resolutions up to 192kHz/24-bit are supported. The VSX-1123 also offers playback of audio files stored in the Direct Streaming Digital (DSD) format through its front USB.

Via the built-in ECO Mode you can save energy without compromising on sound and video performance. Compatible (free) smartphone/tablet apps include the advanced remote control app iControlAV2013.
